River Ventures
About River Ventures
You’ll launch from a comfortable, accessible boat launch point on the Delaware River, and paddle downstream through forested banks, gentle currents and scenic vistas. Along the way you may spot bald eagles, herons, turtles sunning on logs, deer on the shoreline and the soothing sounds of water flowing and leaves rustling. The trip is designed for easy‑to‑moderate paddlers: you don’t need to be an expert. We pick a section of river with mostly flat or gently flowing water, minimal hazards, and plenty of opportunity to stop, rest, swim or picnic if you like. At take‑out you’ll unload, meet the shuttle and return comfortably to your vehicle.
At Pocono Adventure Center, we make it simple and fun to spend an unforgettable day (or half‑day) on the Delaware River in a vessel of your choice: canoe, kayak or raft. You choose the craft, we provide the gear, guidance and transport — so you can focus on the scenery, the wildlife and the water.
